Safety & What to Expect
Mobile IV therapy is clinical care. Licensed Registered Nurses screen, administer, and monitor every treatment from the first vital check through completion.
Before We Start: Pre-Treatment Screening
- Photo ID and informed consent; medical history, medication, allergy, pregnancy, and breastfeeding review.
- Baseline blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen level, hydration status, and vein assessment.
During Your Drip: Continuous Monitoring
- Sterile, single-use supplies and continuous RN observation.
- Rate adjustments, regular check-ins, and an immediate reaction protocol.
Who Should Not Receive IV Therapy Without Clearance
- Congestive heart failure, severe kidney disease, G6PD deficiency, active infection or fever, uncontrolled hypertension, or recent chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or transplant.
- First-trimester pregnancy requires obstetric clearance. This list is not exhaustive; the treating nurse makes the final safety decision.
