Considering an On-Site Corporate IV Event
Mobile IV therapy brings a nurse to a home, hotel, office, or event location. Hosting a service at work is an access and event-planning choice—not a proven way to prevent workplace illness, reduce absenteeism, or improve employee performance. Each person needs an individual screening before treatment.
What the Evidence Does—and Does Not—Show
A RAND summary of an employer wellness-program study reported little, if any, immediate effect on health-care spending. That research examined workplace wellness programs generally; it did not evaluate IV therapy. Separately, Mayo Clinic Press describes the evidence for many IV vitamin claims in healthy people as limited and discusses potential risks. These sources do not establish that IV infusions prevent infections, reduce sick days, treat stress, or improve work performance.
Plan for an Event, Not a Guaranteed Outcome
Before choosing a date, discuss the expected group size, location, schedule, service options, and total cost with the provider. A typical IV hydration appointment takes about 45 to 60 minutes, and a first visit may need additional time for assessment. Build the schedule around individual screening and treatment time rather than assuming every attendee can be treated in one block.
- Ask how employees can choose whether to participate and how appointments are scheduled.
- Confirm what private space is needed for individual screening and treatment.
- Ask who can access personal health information and how the provider handles it.
- Request a written quote that explains per-person pricing, group eligibility, travel, and any event fees.
- Confirm how the provider handles screening, possible side effects, and employees who are not eligible for treatment.
How My IV Nurse Corporate Visits Work
My IV Nurse provides mobile visits across Pinellas County, including offices and event venues. A licensed nurse completes an individual screening before IV administration; not every person will necessarily be eligible. Employers should give employees enough time to review the service information and decide whether they want to book.
Qualifying group bookings receive 10% off for 4 guests, 15% off for 6 guests, or 20% off for 8 guests on eligible services. Final eligibility is confirmed during scheduling. Recurring programs and larger events can request custom pricing. Contact us at (727) 452-5274, visit our partnerships page, or review group and event services.
Questions to Ask About Safety
An IV is an invasive procedure. The Mayo Clinic Press article above notes that IV placement can cause complications such as trauma, bleeding, or infection, and that high-dose vitamin therapy can have other risks. Ask a qualified clinician whether a service fits an individual's health history, medications, and needs; ask about alternatives and costs as well. An optional workplace wellness visit is not a diagnosis, a substitute for routine medical care, or emergency treatment.
